I saw this in the theaters man I was 16 and at the time the special effects were groundbreaking and even to this day they still do not look bad. Twenty years old and still a great movie. satirical and serious, fast moving, but brilliantly paced. The mixture of models, animatronics and CGI still look good while younger movies have dated horribly. Just a great movie with so many memorable scenes that one could easily watch it 10-30 times and not lose affection for it.
