Set in 1884 Sudan, this fifth film to be adapted from the A.E.W. Mason novel follows a British officer who resigns his post right before his regiment ships out to battle the rebels. Perceiving his resignation as cowardice, his friends and fiancée give him four white feathers, the symbol of cowardice, but little do they know he's actually going undercover and plans to redeem his honor.

This is one of my favorite movies too, and yes, it was so underrated! Why? Heath was amazing in it!!! And the movie touches so many sensitive topics, even for nowadays. Heath's character resolution to do something about the feathers was honestly brilliant. How many of us has reached that point and said "I better do something, for it's my choice to become the one I want to be". This made a lot of sense.
