In 2017 the fittest athletes on Earth took on the unknown and unknowable during four of the most intense days of competition in CrossFit Games history. "The Redeemed and the Dominant: Fittest on Earth " captures all the drama as top athletes resembling chiseled Grecian gods descend on Madison, Wisconsin, to face a series of trials. Hercules faced 12; they take on 13. Emotions run high as a throng of Australian athletes rise to the top. By the end of the competition, some learn tough lessons-that all that glitters isn't gold, or even bronze-and some learn that they're even stronger than they realized. The best among them enter the pantheon of CrossFit giants and earn the right to call themselves the "Fittest on Earth."

Just watched this entertaining sequel and I very much enjoyed it until the filmmakers started bullshitting the viewers regarding steroids in this sport. They have tried to convince us all that they have a ‘clean’ sport and that none of the top contenders are dirty....until they pick on one unlucky male. The last part of the film concentrates on destroying this man, and we all know that the attack was premeditated and disingenuous for the purpose of entertainment. Shame on multiple people connected to this movie, including Dave Castro and lots of the athletes who are quite happy to kick this man when he was down. Steroids is rife in lots of sports including CrossFit, please don’t bullshit the viewers as most people watching this film are educated enough to work out what is going on. - @Friday, September 21, 2018 1:21 PM

since PED's are the big topic of this, lets dive right in. first, they perpetuate a ton of myths about steroids. you know who took the most juice in baseball? pitchers. why? recovery. endurance athlete's juice, and they don't look like body builders. they juice to build endurance and to aid in recovery. second, a few of those girls pack more muscle than professional physique competitors. this is suspicious in and of itself, as we know female physique competitors are on juice, and building muscle is their job. third, the athletes themselves say they know others are using. its odd that people at the top are beating pro's on juice, they all train the same, lift the same weight, run about as fast. in a grueling 7 day endurance competition, the guys on drugs are not on the podium? 4th, its about how bad they want to catch them. again take baseball. when they crack down on roids, its a home run fest, the pitchers just cant recover enough to be 100%. when they crack down on speed, its strike out season. does crossfit want a bunch of near dead athletes limping around day seven lifting baby weights? or are they going to test just enough to clip the stupid ones, say that they are a "clean league", and have amazing down to the wire competition on day 6 and seven? - @Sunday, July 22, 2018 11:49 PM

Don't bother paying for/watching this unless you want two hours of a show that is cut like a trailer 'all' the way through. Just two hours of rapid cuts and snippets and fragments of sentences. Crossfit athletes are amazing. I kinda noticed though your average sized guys are falling year by year. What about adding a cross-country run that's at least 5k. Those runs allows your slimmer less explosive guys to shine and fatigues the top explosive athletes. Most Major colleges have cross country team. Easy to find course.
