The Single Moms Club follows five single mothers from different walks of life who come together when their teen kids, who all attend the same exclusive school, get in trouble for smoking and vandalism. It turns out that the school makes parents get involved when their children act out, so the five women are tasked with organizing a fundraiser dance. When ice cube made friday he wanted people to see the lighter humerous side to living in the hood. I think ty wanted people to see that in single moms club, that as a single mom life wasnt bad 24 7 we had some moments where we gritted our teeth, laughed, made new friends and bonded but at the end of the day we had our kids our friends and each other. I just watched this thinking it portrays " the reality of single moms" not amused well 1 st off every single mother does not have a well spoken educated man banging down there front door right after getting through a turmulous relationship, maybe I'm to sensitive to the aspect but I was a single mother for 3 years and my life ...reality was nothing of this movie,after the movie ended I went into my oldest daughters room kissed her and apologized the way things had become when her father left the picture I have never done that being my daughter is the happiest ,most loved 7 year old I know she knows "daddy" isn't around d but she has my almost fiancée lol that's "daddy to her since she was 3 I have a 2 year old also who is the father to both my kids but I the real world on e again he didn't love a child that wasn't his overnight,he does now but it took time this movie I got the understanding was suppose to uplift but I felt it was a shoot I'm the face to all single mothers who like I said don't have mr. Right banging down there door I feel the movie could've been funny cuz I do like Tyler perry but it also could've been more of the reality of single moms everywhere idk the movie just frustrated me to each tis own opinion,if u enjoyed it good for u but I feel the movie took getting a new love life to much of a nessacity, single moms want that love and commitment but just like I'm the movie although very different we sacrifice lots for our kids so thumbs down mr.bang my forest down next door is not the reality of what a single mother has the luxury of dealing with I hope Tyler perry reads this,but he won't but the actual single mom just making ends ,meet I'm sure would agree - @Saturday, August 23, 2014 4:41 AM
