John Huston stars as an intergalactic warrior who joins a cosmic Christ figure in battle against a demonic 8-year-old girl, and her pet hawk, while the fate of the universe hangs in the balance. Multi-dimensional warfare, pre-adolescent profanity and brutal avian attacks combine to transport the viewer to a state unlike anything they've experienced... somewhere between Hell and the darkest reaches of outer space.

Great job! This could have passed as a vintage trailer (except for the goofy edits where she curses). - @Tuesday, May 26, 2015 11:04 PM

An undiscovered gem, Franco Nero is amazing as the blonde Jesus figure.  The soundtrack is great as well. Find it and own it. - @Saturday, January 3, 2015 10:48 AM

This trailer intrigues me. Gonna watch it now. I just discovered the band Zola Jesus (not sure if I like them yet), and an interview with the singer led me to this movie. Thanks for uploading this. - @Thursday, November 10, 2011 12:19 AM

Man I just caught a version of this in the theater last night that's only been shown in North America three times. It's a terrible move, in a good way. - @Thursday, September 15, 2011 9:48 AM

@desertlonghair My copy is on pre-order, eager to get it! And I wanted to mention that when I say it's "odd" (in a good way) because it has a European flair to it, I mean that the European films (even horror/sci-fi) are more willing to be more experimental and "unusual" in the eyes of typical "Americans"... I for one seek out the unusual, and that's why The Visitor has been one of my faves for all these years :) - @Saturday, October 30, 2010 7:56 PM

I'm so happy Code Red is releasing this on DVD Nov. 2, 2010....I first saw this as a sneak preview back in '79 and got the poster too. Sure, it's odd, but that's because is has a very European flair to it, though it has North American actors. I defend this movie always, it's too unusual to pass off as a misfire. Not your typical Hollywood stuff! - @Saturday, October 30, 2010 10:19 AM

That's it. There's also a short shot towards the end where all the board members are eaten up (presumably by the mob of pigoens) and you can pick out Boortz with his head over on the table next to Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion. The Boomer also has a line about the same time Boortz speaks. Mind you I haven't seen this since it premiered in Atlanta, but like chewing gum on a shoe sole, this crap is hard to shake out of your memory! LOL - @Thursday, May 8, 2008 10:02 PM

He was one of the "board members" and only had a couple of lines. This is from memory of course, but I remember him saying to Lance Henrikson "Do you have everything you want, is it everything you need?" Something like that. - @Thursday, May 8, 2008 8:09 PM

john huston as obi wan kenobi! Huston would have been a cool obi wan, too. Instead, he was gandolf. Nice ROF soundtrack music at the end. Correct me if I'm thinking of another film but my dad and I used to make fun of this movie all the time with huston doing exercises on rooftops during the film? - @Sunday, February 3, 2008 10:01 PM

Not since "Tentacles" have I seen such an unlikely cast. - @Tuesday, July 10, 2007 5:38 AM

Wow, thanks for posting this. The "Visitor" has to be one of the worst movies of all time but it has that train-wreck quality that makes you watch it again and again. It's also the one time on screen appearance of radio talk show host Neal Boortz. If you want to get kicked off his show, bring up the "Visitor" - @Friday, April 6, 2007 9:58 PM
