Some folks need to learn that the word "straight" has more than one meaning. Seriously, what silly comments. For those who care, Ron Rash's explanation of the title, which is the title of the novel on which the movie is based: " It comes from Handel’s Messiah. There’s a line about the crookedness of the world made straight. It’s about having this injustice – the Shelton Laurel Massacre, a civil war massacre – and trying to set it right.
