+Rainy Jane The 70s films like this that were the 1st generation of this tripe at least occasionally terrified people. The original Black Christmas and Texas Chainsaw Massacre still freak people out 40 plus years later. This film, however, is closer to Last House on the Left (1972) or I Spit on Your Grave (1978). Also, the FX on 1st generation slasher flix usually stunk, so they could only imply the things they wanted to do to women. The films that appeal to the adolescent gay, sociopaths are stuff like Deliverance, Pulp Fiction and Hostel Part 1. There are twisted gay men too, but only about the same 5% of gays as straight guys that enjoy torture porn. - @Tuesday, July 14, 2015 10:13 AM
