After months of communicating via online chat and phone, Annie discovers her friend (Chris Henry Coffey) is not who he originally claimed to be. Shocked into disbelief, her parents (Clive Owen and Catherine Keener) are shattered by their daughter's actions and struggle to support her as she comes to terms with what has happened to her once innocent life.

The problem with the movie is time constraints. In the real world months would pass as he finally got her to a hotel. In the movie, he shows up in all his 35year old glory and freaks her out but within minutes, has her at a restaurant, in his vehicle and then the room. I hope this movie at least showed young people that they shouldn't write and tell everything to an unknown person cause you never know who's behind the computer, a while ago I have read news that one pedophile abused 15 girls on Facebook who were younger than 15 and he asked them for naked photos and things like that and at the end he asked something in return that he will not share this pictures online and many girls killed themselves cause their lives were ruined... so do not girls be naive and if you don't know with who you write don't tell them your private information cause the person may say he is 15 and he might be 40.
