Whitney’s family didn’t understand addiction as a disease - they thought it was a problem that going to church would solve . You go to church to save your soul and rehab to save your life from addiction . They meant well but the addict has to want to recover which Whitney did . A more extensive rehab may have worked but well never know and assigning blame is not the answer . Some people don’t recover as many don’t from any disease . Where's Robyn? And I hope they're not making this solely for money. Only Whitney can tell her story, and unfortunately she's gone. So many industry folks, family and friends have used her until their was nothing left. The image at her funeral was released to the media from someone in her family, or friendship group. Which already shows she couldn't truly trust anyone. Her brother gave her drugs before bobby as he has admitted during an Oprah interview. So I doubt they will get the story right. I will watch it regardless, but it seems almost too close for another film after the documentary was released. I just hope Whitney memory isn't tarnished and her soul shines through as usual. R.I.P to one of the greatest...... not to be petty though, but when they making a Donna Summer movie?
