The owner of a large bookstore chain starts putting the owner of a small local bookstore out of business. Meanwhile they have been corresponding over the internet without knowing who either of them are. They can't stand each other in person but over the internet they are very attracted. He finds out who she is but she doesn't know. He starts to like her more but she still hates him. He has to fix it.

when tinder and instagram were not around, it was much easier to speak to women online and go on a real date instead of these obnoxious tinder/ instagram divas who go on dating apps or social media, just to get compliments/likes, or who hope to find mr.perfect (which does not exist) As in 2018 this movie is a mirage. in 1998 until 2008 you still had the 90s culture which mixed to technology made incredible things in the dating scene.
