It took me a couple links before i found a place to bash this movie like a cheap Pinata, but i am so dissappointed... The devils rejects was the ultimate peak of what was an initially shitty movie, House of 1000 Corpses, a remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre but much more weird... The fate of Otis and Capt Spaulding(and whatever the hell Sherri Zombies Characters name was.....) Was OSCAR WORTHY EPIC!!! Then the Lords of Salem came out, a shitty Rosemarys Baby Knock off, which, as a Rob Zombie fan of TWENTY YEARS PLUS who roots for him shed a tear, but the movie itself was so badly written that i had hoped he would redeem himself with his next Flick like he did with devils rejects/1000 corpses.... SO i watched "31" , My faith is gone, what a complete lack of depth, including ridiculous black characters who while Zombie wants to show equality does the opposite and makes them look like dumb spearchuckers like the cliche stoned Jamaican and ghetto hick who brings any sista home to get laid as if the delusion a movie in 2016 can reflect 1970 mindset would fly? I had to vent here.... Did not a SINGLE executive producer see this on a drawing board and say "Yeah.... this is stupid and lame, people are gonna hate this"? Help me understand I will see you in Long Beach soon Rob... How did Rob 'Poopy Pants' Zombie manage to pull Sheri Moon? She looks stunning whilst Rob looks like a fart in a trance, he looks like a hippy version of Pee Wee Herman. Sheri seems a nice down to earth person. I was pretty disappointed in this one. The opening scene was decent, good cinematography and a nice build up... but the film just didn't deliver after that. The acting and plot went straight downhill. No twists or surprises... just plain old violence, not really psychologically thrilling at all.
