Very underrated movie. This movie is slow-paced but not boring at all. All actors play very well. It's deeper meaning is excellently put into practice: it is what Yogi's call "ahimsa" = not being violent. May, the main character, has a deep break in her life when she realizes, that she has a biological (half-) sister. From that point on, she is confronted with varying forms of violence, mental, spiritual and the longer the more also very physical violence. This movie shows how she reacts. And especially how all the people around her support her in the *right action* or to put it more bluntly: completely fail to support her in her great approach to life. The end may be shocking but not meaningless at all. I fully recommend this movie to everybody, that is about to realize, that destroying things (and sentient beings) is wether an art nor very difficult. My 9-year old son can pull a trigger, no problem. Repairing what you have destroyed however, is an art. Mentally as well as physically. So – shooting somebody into the leg is not difficult, healing this wound however is. Accordingly our respect should be given to our fellow men. Nobody should destroy anything that he/she couldn't also heal! However – real life is not so simple. This is what the movie shows. If you are a fan of senseless violence and intellectually completely boring movies, this film is not for you and you can easily skip this one. - @Tuesday, October 18, 2016 12:39 PM
