There's an unfurnished book I have set aside for a few years now. I heard it mentioned last night so I was reminded of it again. I wondered if I should continue reading it. Within the past year I have self diagnosed myself of having bibliophobia - fear of reading.(long story...) Yesterday I prayed if I should continue reading this particular book and the answer came clear that night once I received the sign I seeked synchronistically. Upon opening the book to the last page I left off, I read the words written by Mary Wollstonecraft that states, "I wish to show that the first object of laudable ambition is to obtain a character as a human being, regardless of the distinction of sex." And since these words were written in her response to Edmund Burke's writings - - "a woman is but an animal, and an animal not of the highest order." Perhaps he failed to recognize the sacred law that all human beings are born through the feminine. So since when have women become such objects of men's contempt? I find it weird that the last two books I've opened, I landed on pages that has very strong feminist statements.
