I actually have the book but it's really thick so I was kinda lazy to read it.. I read a little then stopped, thinking that maybe I'll read other books before I start with this trilogy. Then, one day, my teacher showed this movie to us and I was instantly reminded of this book... like I was watching the movie and I saw Gwin, the weasel and he looked so familiar it reminded me of the book and then Meggie's name was called and I was like 'I have that book!' I am so disappointed in this movie it did not do the book justice. The only way they can fix it is if later they decide to do a remake and actually get the story line right and portray the characters properly.
