On the night of Halloween, 10 teens decide to go to a party at an abandoned funeral parlor. "Hull House", rumored to be built on an evil patch of land & underground stream, is the place. While starting the party, the teens gather around a big mirror to perform a seance...BIG MISTAKE. They awaken some evil force and find themselves trapped and taken over one by one. Now it's a battle for who can survive and cross over the stream before going to hell....

I watched this movie and really tried to like it but the thing that threw me off was when they transformed into demons and what their voices sounded like. It was too cheesy for me. The voices sounded like when you hold your throat in and talk. So cheap. They could've done a lot better with that. Plus the eye contacts could of been different reminded me of lost boys and salem's lot eye contacts. This release is a stellar one from Scream Factory PQ & AQ is damn near perfect, but I'm not crazy about the new artwork New audio commentary and new interviews and a new documentary. I remember the video store (Movies Unlimited) had a giant Night of the Demons cardboard cut out with red eyes that lit up... Scared the hell outta me every time i saw it! As scary as Hull House was it may have actually been a safe haven! This film was made in south central LA around Vermont & Adams/ 29th St & Menlo/ 29th & Vermont. This area is near the USC campus. It is real close (too close for me) to the West Side Rollin 20s (Bloods), which includes a set called the Demon block. It was also close to the West Side Fruit Town Brims. These groups beef with nearby Crips--Rollin 30s, Rollin 40s and various other Crips. Further south are the notorious Rollin 60s Crips, who killed NFL star Kermit Alexander's mother, sister, and two nephews in the mid 1980s in their home. They were in the wrong house! The top henchman 19 year old Tiequon Cox is still on death row. This movie was made less than 4 years after those murders, and less than 4 miles away. The murders were on 59th St. Part of the set was on 29th and Menlo. Gang murders however go all over that area, then and now. So, in the above movie when the two make it over the wall, their problems were really just beginning at that time of night.
