Director Antoine Fuqua reunites with Denzel Washington in this sequel to 2014's The Equalizer. Washington resumes his role as Robert McCall: a retired CIA Black Ops operative who works as a security guard and moonlights as a vigilante. It's a dated movie. Dated before it was ever made. The score in this movie is so 1995. A waste of the talents of D. Washington and Pedro Pascal. Denzel can do better than this. Perhaps he should consider co-directing or producing, so that he can control the quality and his destiny.
