Two teenagers on neighboring farms steal glances and hide their romance from their feuding fathers. Eh, looks ok. Not as good as the stage show, I'm sure. Musicals don't always need to be in movie form. The Fantasticks is a musical where you do the imagining, not them. That's why the stage set is so empty with little props. This movie pretty much takes care of the imagination and creativity for you and I really don't like that.
