I am so glad that we no longer have the old-timey "scary" soundtracks featuring blaring/screeching wind instruments...even classic horror/sci-fi movies seem diminished by them - @Friday, August 23, 2013 12:26 AM

All I see is some kind of sick using animals. They glue stuff to them and make them fight. Who else thinks it's kinda sick - @Sunday, June 16, 2013 1:20 AM

I loved this as a child, and figured lively lizards were the way to go for dinosaurs (I'd also seen, and loved, "Journey to the Center of the Earth", the best use of finned iguanas as dimetrodons ever). I was astounded to see the creations of Willis O'Brien and Ray Harryhausen later on, and realize they were far superior; now, we have the CGI teams doing umpteen "Jurassic Park" re-dos. I miss Irwin Allen (hell, I even miss Harryhausen). - @Thursday, December 27, 2012 12:08 AM

this movie also scared the hell out of me aged about 5 or 6. But it fueled my imagination and I now look upon it as great entertainment. It was my first tv movie, having been taken to the cinema to watch such children's classics as "633 Squadron", "Battle Of Britain" and "Desert Fox" !! - @Friday, November 23, 2012 12:32 AM
