All Clara wants is a key - a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer's annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key-which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It's there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip, a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger, to retrieve Clara's key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.

I am from Russia and for me it is so strange to look at the nutcracker in such a remake. I am completely for equality and there is no scaffold race or a good race, but it is strange to see how in 2018 because of excessive tolerance, people simply take and change stories. In modern films, at least take someone, but you don’t need to take the one who was clearly not in that country at that time. Russia has never been a racist country, but in the 19th century there were no Africans in Russia and in Europe as a whole. In Asian historical films or cartoons you will not see white or black and this is normal since then they were not there in history and this is not racism.
