It's finally out, everybody! I can't wait to see it. If the sound quality is anything like this, it's bound to be impressive. - @Friday, November 8, 2013 10:14 PM

Nice trailer, but I just didn't picture the Mi-go sounding like an old woman. To be truthful, I didn't really know what they would sound like, except something very alien. - @Friday, August 24, 2012 1:20 PM

@shoggothsean It's supposed to be an educated Bostonian accent, according to the Lovecraft story. I think that's just their interpretation of what an educated Bostonian accent is from 1931. - @Saturday, June 11, 2011 9:37 PM

I love how you guys can recreate the uber creepy atmosphere of the HPL stories. That is some serious film noir awesomeness you got going there. Can't wait for the finished article. Please do The Color Out of Time next pleeeeeeeeeeeease :) - @Friday, February 18, 2011 3:45 AM

Oustanding!!! Personally, I love the voice used. As an avid fan of OTR, it fits perfectly with the time period this is based in. Very nice, will be buying this one for sure. I loved the version of CALL. - @Sunday, October 24, 2010 3:31 PM

I love this teaser! I watch it over and over and over. The Dutch Angles and noirish lighting effects are perfect. Matt has a great look and of course Andrew and Sean's attention to detail is awe-inspiring! I am fully confident that the feature is gonna be brilliant. - @Friday, October 22, 2010 7:56 PM

@MrColorcrayons Thanks for your comment. The "Radio Announcer" voice you're referring to is not supposed to be Akeley. It's someone else. - @Friday, October 22, 2010 7:05 AM

MrColorcrayons
My only critique of this trailer is the man's voice in the recording. Its too "Radio Announcer" and not enough Akeley. I realize that the radio announcer voice helps create an air of anachronism, but I think the voice removes the suspension of disbelief. Otherwise, a really great and creepy teaser to a movie that seems faithful to the source material. Congratulations. - @Thursday, October 21, 2010 7:25 PM

@TheVoiceOfReason93 : It's not. It's a recording of what was heard in the woods, a ceremony. I grew up in the more rural parts of Kentucky (i.e. 200 acres in the middle of nowhere.) and this story had me sleepless for months. Can't wait to see it. - @Monday, October 18, 2010 4:52 PM

Wait a minute - who the heck would record the Necromonicon on a recorder, knowing that any single of its spells could annihilate the whole world? - @Saturday, July 24, 2010 10:55 PM

This trailer is as creepy and atmospheric as the short story it's based on. If this is going to be as good as the HPLHS's Call of Cthulhu, then we're in for a treat! - @Monday, June 21, 2010 6:02 PM

If this is anywhere near as good as "The Call of Cthulhu", I know we are going to be in for a treat. Just saw "The Call Of Cthulhu" at a local Con, and it was so good. Can't wait for this!! - @Monday, April 19, 2010 11:17 PM

@cha5 The movie should be done by then, but it's unlikely that it will be available for sale on DVD at that point. The new trailer should be online this week. - @Wednesday, March 31, 2010 4:42 PM

This fall? that's wonderful Do you think you might have this out on DVD and for sale maybe at the New York Comic-Con this October? - @Wednesday, March 31, 2010 5:02 AM

@Ezreal I think you mean 'profit'. But yeah, I'd really like to see a movie adaptation of 'The Rats in the Walls' or 'The Case of Charles Dexter Ward.' - @Monday, March 8, 2010 8:16 AM

Just saw "The Call of Cthulhu" (which is now on Instant View on Netflix!). This looks like it will be awesome as well. So, if you turn a good prophet, are you guys thinking of something more ambitious, like "Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath"? - @Monday, March 8, 2010 2:03 AM

Love how the cat is upset by a mere recording of the voice of a Mythos creature. "And he shall put on the semblance of men" is a good tagline too. - @Saturday, February 20, 2010 6:40 PM

This, this...this is gonna be so damn awesome. I was impressed by their Call of Cthulhu movie, but this looks like it'll blow it out of the water. Now all we need is a movie of The Rats in the Walls. - @Monday, January 25, 2010 7:34 AM

The sound quality in this trailer is amazing. Every little click and whir is distinctive and crisp. I hope the completed movie keeps it on the same level. - @Monday, January 18, 2010 4:01 AM

Guys, that is seriously all kinds of awesome. Beautiful noir-style lighting, fluid camera moves and one heck of a creepy atmosphere. Oh, and the cat's reaction is priceless. These handcrafted Lovecraft films of yours are gorgeous little works of art. Can't wait to see the full version! - @Monday, December 14, 2009 10:52 AM
