Damn I remember watching this as a kid, and that fucking robot gave me nightmares for weeks. - @Friday, November 30, 2018 10:13 AM

One of the worst movies I've seen in my life. Its pace is atrocious, the music misses the mark, the spacecraft scenes are agonizing and totally useless. - @Sunday, August 26, 2018 2:41 PM

I can't believe that Stanley Donen directed this. I mean, Stanley Donen, the man behind "On The Town" and "Singin' In The Rain"? HE directed this cheesy 80's sci-fi film? That just seems so unlike him. 8O - @Thursday, July 19, 2018 7:37 AM

I remember seeing this in the theater. It had it's good moments but like too many movies of that time, they could have all been chipped down into 30 minutes. So little plot, so much filler, so little payoff. - @Thursday, July 12, 2018 8:04 PM

This trailer (and the poster) is WAY more entertaining and intriguing than the actual movie. The trailer made a lasting impression on me as a kid when they showed it in the theater, but I didn't get around seeing the film til this year (2017). Man, oh, man, what a shit movie. I'd always imagined it would be like Alien but with a a robot that fucks, and that's sort of what it is. Harvey Keitel wants to bone Farrah. He builds a robot which he can control and teach with his mind. The robot learns to want to bone Farrah. Kirk Douglas (who is boning Farrah) tries to prevent Harvey and the robot from boning Farrah. Farrah escapes. The end. Now, that synopsis may sound fun, but the execution is incredibly boring and you soon begin to feel like you're watching some tedious drive-in, C-grade schlock from the late 60s rather than something released the same year as The Empire Strikes Back, Flash Gordon, The Shining, and Altered States. Well. . . on second thought, 1980 was the same year Xanadu and Can't Stop the Music were released. . . so that point falls flat. Go ahead and watch it if you're curious, but don't say you weren't warned. - @Wednesday, January 10, 2018 5:47 AM

Hector the robot wasn’t nuts, it became nuts when it linked up with Harvey Kitel’s character. Harvey failed a psych test early in the movie, killed a rival pilot and headed for Saturn 3, so Hector incorporated those homicidal traits into his programming, and started trying to murder the other people, and wanted to be Farah Fawcett’s mate! - @Monday, October 23, 2017 8:20 PM

Lol this looks more like it was made in the 60's. Just watched it and it's terrible. Alien was made in 1979, one year before this was released, and it's 100x a more superior film in all aspects. - @Tuesday, August 22, 2017 5:49 AM

Why does that Robot remind me of Donald Trump ? I think the scary Robot is a pussy grabber to like Trump. - @Monday, August 21, 2017 4:15 AM

What disturbed me a lot about this movie was the end scene. You thought that he had survived his ordeal only to see that he had an AI plug in socket installed in the back of his neck / head meaning that the robot won in the end. The fight between man and machine goes on. - @Sunday, February 19, 2017 10:28 PM
